Description
Vanish-Lite water-soluble thread is created from a special blend of ingredients that allows the thread to be sewn or quilted and when immersed in water, dissolve. Use as a temporary bond in basting (such as quilt basting) and trapunto. Spritz with water to remove. Use an 80/12 Topstitch needle.
Ensure you mark any bobbins wound with this thread, as you wouldn’t want it to get mixed with other threads!
For longarm machines, you may find the thicker Vanish-Extra to work better for you, but removing the thread will require soaking the item.
- 60 weight, 2-ply water soluble thread.
- 274 m (300 yd.) spool.
